86'd

You know the term 86'd?  I always thought it meant axed, fired, gotten rid of, etc. which is true, but I didn't know where it came from.  It comes from the fact that the observation deck of the empire state building is on the 86th floor and the people who commit suicide off that "86" themselves.  Thank god for the internet....I don't know how I would have made it through the rest of my life without that information.
